Ask for a plan first

Goal: Get a plan, review it and change it before any file is touched.

Try it

  1. Open OpenCode in your project folder and press Tab until Plan is showing.
  2. Paste the planning prompt above (adapt it if your idea is different).
  3. Read the plan. Ask for one change, even a small one.
  4. Press Tab back to Build and ask it to build the agreed plan.

You're done when you asked for at least one change to the plan, the files now exist in your project folder, and you can name each file and what it's for.

Recap

  • A plan is a cheap drawing before an expensive build.
  • In OpenCode, Tab switches between Plan (asks before any edit) and Build (edits).
  • Check files, screen and the one action, then change at least one thing.
