Your first tiny win

Goal: Get the agent to make a real file, then check it yourself on disk.

Try it

  1. Ask OpenCode to create hello.txt with one sentence.
  2. Find and open the file yourself in the file browser.
  3. Ask for a second line, then open the file again.

You're done when you've opened hello.txt yourself and seen both lines with your own eyes, not just the agent's word.

Recap

  • The model asks for a tool. The harness actually creates the file.
  • "Done" in the chat is a claim. The file on disk is the proof.
  • Check it yourself every time: file browser or ls.
