Lesson 7.3 · 4:34
Improve a skill with evidence
Goal: Run a skill on two different changes, find what it missed, and fix the recipe.
Try it
- Make change 1 (looks only). Run the review prompt from 7.2. Save the report as
review-1.md. - Undo or save, then make change 2 (behaviour). Run the review again and save
review-2.md. - Compare both reports with your test matrix. Write the miss in one sentence.
- Add one step to
.opencode/skills/review-app/SKILL.md, start a fresh session, and re-run the review on change 2.
You're done when you have two saved reports, a one-sentence miss, a changed skill file, and a re-run that shows the new step was followed. If you truly found no miss, write down which case you'd test next.
Recap
- A skill is a first draft. It improves only from evidence on real work.
- Test it on two changes of different kinds. One run hides what it skips.
- Fix one step in the recipe, then re-run to confirm. You're looping on the instructions.
