Lesson 4.1 · 4:00

Context beats clever wording

Goal: Give the agent evidence (files, errors, screenshots, limits) instead of fancier words.

Try it

  1. Open your Module 3 app folder in OpenCode.
  2. Find one thing you'd like improved. Write it the vague way first, on paper.
  3. Now rewrite it with at least three of the four kinds of evidence: file, exact error or behaviour, screenshot, limits.
  4. Send only the rewritten version. Read what the agent plans to do before you approve.
  5. Check the result yourself in the browser. Make a save point if you keep it.

You're done when you have both versions written down and you can point to which three kinds of evidence you added.

Recap

  • The model only sees what's on its desk. Vague words leave it guessing.
  • Give evidence: the file, the exact error, a screenshot, and what must not change.
  • Same model plus better context usually means a better result.

Next lesson (4.2): decide what "done" looks like, before you ask for the change.
